Q. Is dental cleaning painful?
A. No especially if you have good oral hygiene and your gums are used to having a "workout" from your toothbrush.
Q. How often do I need to bring my child to the dentist?
A. Usually every six months, however, in some instances we may want to see your child every three months or annually.
Q. When should I first bring my child to the dentist?
A. Six months after the first tooth erupts or at age one. Remember, at Camp Smile, we want your kids to start out right, so exams are free until your child reaches 18 months!
Q. Will my dental insurance cover my dental visit?
A. You must check with your dental provider to determine whether coverage is provided. We are happy to supply estimated fees for all recommended procedures. For more information on dental insurance, see our Dental Insurance page.
Q. What do you do to manage pain?
A. We use a variety of pain management, including topical and local anesthetic as well as sedation ranging from nitrous oxide to general anesthesia.
Q. What do you do to protect my child's privacy?
A. First, we never ask for personal information over email. For full disclosure of our privacy policies, please visit out Privacy Policy page.
